The Promise of
Health Care Excellence

THE PROMISE OF HEALTH CARE EXCELLENCE

“The Exemplary Provider™ Accreditation process is nothing like the others. It allows us to focus on doing what’s best for our patients and not just on what’s best for the accrediting body.”
Cindy Leif, President, Select Care, Inc., Charlotte, North Carolina
Exemplary Provider™ accredited 2000-2007.

“I have personally been involved in other accreditation programs over my 20 years in this industry. The approach of the Compliance Team is second to none in my opinion. Their willingness to make us all stronger, more efficient and challenge our professionalism shines through. Their one on one mentoring approach brings so much more to the table.”
Alan Derr, President, Derr Medical Equipment, Inc., Manheim, Pennsylvania

Since the time of ancient Greece, the legend of Asclepius has served as a metaphor for healthcare delivery excellence.
Pindar and Isyllus in the 4th century BC described him as the first great caregiver—mankind’s universal benefactor whose compassion for human suffering brought out his brilliance and benevolence.

"We choose Exemplary Provider Accreditation because the Compliance Team’s validation process was simply the best and most sensible way for us to meet the accreditation requirements of the Medicare Modernization Act.”
Wayne Setzer, President, Spokane Home Healthcare, Spokane, Washington
Exemplary Provider™ accredited 2005-2007.

NATIONAL RECOGNITION

The Exemplary Provider™ Accreditation Programs marked an important evolution in healthcare evaluation when they were introduced in 1998. In addition to breaking new ground by developing the industry’s first measured continuous quality improvement accreditation programs, the all-inclusive approach taken by the Compliance Team has given rise to an expanding simplification movement within the healthcare evaluation industry.

Managed Care recognition first began in March 1999 and the list of national and regional payors continues to grow as we enter new markets. In the Spring of 2000, Medicare’s National Supplier Clearinghouse recommended the Exemplary Provider™ program to providers seeking to avoid fraud and abuse violations. In addition, the Compliance Team programs for DMEPOS are recognized by a growing number of state Medicaid Agencies and associations including industry advocates such as the American Association for Homecare.
