NATIONAL RECOGNITION
The Exemplary Provider™ Accreditation Programs marked an important evolution in healthcare evaluation when they were introduced in 1998. In addition to breaking new ground by developing the DMEPOS industry’s first measured continuous quality improvement accreditation programs, the Compliance Team’s mentoring approach to accreditation has given rise to an expanding simplification movement within the healthcare evaluation industry.   Managed Care recognition as an accreditation option first began in March 1999. In the Spring of 2000, Medicare’s National Supplier Clearinghouse recommended the Exemplary Provider™ program to providers seeking to avoid fraud and abuse violations. Today, as a result, in part, of Medicare’s deemed authority,
The Compliance Team, Inc.’s program is accepted as an accreditation choice by an ever expanding list of national, regional and state Medicaid Payors.

SUCCESS STORIES
Since the time of ancient Greece, the legend of Asclepius has served as a metaphor for healthcare delivery excellence. Pindar and Isyllus in the 4th century BC described him as the first great caregiver—mankind’s universal benefactor whose compassion for human suffering brought out his brilliance and benevolence.
“The Exemplary Provider™ Accreditation process is nothing like the others. It allows us to focus on doing what’s best for our patients and not just on what’s best for the accrediting body.”
